Borosil Renewables is deeply committed to conserve and preserve natural capital and have taken multiple efforts in this direction. Kachchh, the largest district in India, has long faced water scarcity issues. To address this challenge, a comprehensive water conservation project was implemented in the region. The project encompassed a range of initiatives aimed at conserving water, including deepening, widening, and designing of rivers, lakes, and ponds. A total of 17 villages were directly benefited and actively participated in the water conservation endeavours.
The other initiatives include effectively utilizing runoff rainwater to recharge groundwater and reduce reliance on river water for our water needs. This project aligns with Goal 11, 12, and 13 of the Sustainable Development Goals set forth by the United Nations in 2015.
